WonderGirl: From the Beginning to 18 Months Old

I don’t know why this surprises me. You’d think that after watching the years pass with SuperGirl (I can’t believe she’s about to be 3–ahhh!), I’d remember how fast everything goes by. Actually, that’s a lie. I’ve found that the first year draaaaags by, and then everything else is a blur. =)

But as of this month WonderGirl is now 18 months old, and so I thought it would be cute to do a progression over time from the beginning until now. (You may tell me how adorable she is; I might get all sniffly.)

Without further ado… *sniff*

WonderGirl, in the hospital

WonderGirl, first Christmas (nearly 2 months old)

WonderGirl, 4.5 months old (one day I will own a couch that is kids-stains-free)

WonderGirl, 6 months old (same day)

WonderGirl, 8 months old (you can see the orange nose here! =)

WonderGirl, around 10 months old

WonderGirl, 1 year old!

WonderGirl, almost 15 months old–at the Denver Art Museum

WonderGirl, 17 months (Easter fun)

WonderGirl, 18 months (and with chocolate given by Daddy on face)…I could have put up a nicer picture, but I think this captures how much of a mess she truly is ;)

*sigh* Too fast, indeed. =)

  1. You are so right. It does go by way to fast. My daughter is 34 and my son is 25. I now have a grandchild by each of them, so that helps a little bit. Your wondergirl is just the cutest thing ever. Speaking of orange nose, my son when he was about 9 or 10 months old we noticed that his face had a little bit of an orange tint. We were worried, so we brought him to the doctors and he laughed at us and told us that we were feeding him to much food that was high in Beta Cartine. Sweet potato, string beans, carrots…. We felt so silly on the way home. LOL! Tell wondergirl happy eighteen months.

    • Hi Mary! I bet those grandchildren are spoiled so much. =) Yes, the doctor said the orange must be from eating orange foods, but I swear she didn’t each that much! lol Thanks so much for visiting today. =)

  2. I must say that she looks very much like her momma! Wait until they are teenagers and then you will definitely be saying that the years have seemingly flown by. My oldest two are in their teens and it seems like only yesterday that they were fingerpainting, their bedroom walls, with nail polish, and makeup LOL! It is true what they say about being able to laugh about the things that get them into trouble as younger children when they get older. And the couch is not “stained” it is “kiddie art deco”!

    • Lol at “kiddie art deco”. I like that, Lora. Maybe that means that whenever we get a new couch they’ll leave it alone and continue working on this one. ;) I hear ya. I keep saying that I need to take more photos/videos, because it *is* going by so fast. Thanks for stopping by today. And thanks for saying she looks like me. ;)
